Bevin leads a team devoted to supporting the success of the communities in Alabama through asset assessments, strategic planning and a focus on human, financial and physical capital. Her team provides workforce analytics and works with allies throughout the state on workforce development strategies. They also assist communities in determining optimal capital stack for desired projects, including federal, state and private grants or loans, new market tax credits and qualified Opportunity Zone funds. A significant focus of her team’s work is in rural parts of Alabama.
Bevin joined Alabama Power in 2013 as an analyst for the Business Intelligence team, developing and supporting research projects and leads analysis for new and current customer growth opportunities in several industry sectors. She also served as assistant to the executive vice president of Customer Service and worked on several special projects.
